Betsy began her real estate career in the resort community of Lake Arrowhead California, selling to the entertainment industry from 1988 to 1993. She moved to Maui in February of 1993 and reentered real estate during a slow market as the office, sales and commercial property manager in Makawao for Johnny Baldwin and Elliott Jones, as well as assistant to the owner of a large upcountry office until she joined Coldwell Banker Island Properties in April 1999.

Betsy is now striking out on her own, having opened Maui Real Estate Professionals on April 27, 2004. As the Owner Realtor® and Principal Broker of Maui Real Estate Professionals, she has tripled her sale's production through hard work and a loyal clientele following. Betsy's 2005 Maui Real Estate sale's were just under $33,000,000, propelling Betsy to the #28 spot for the top 100 Realtors® on Maui. She has remained in the top 100 Maui Realtors® even through this market slowdown. On March 16, 2007, Betsy opened her beautiful new offices, located in the Kulamalu Towne Center in the heart of Maui's upcountry. Clients have remarked how much they love coming into what feels more like a home atmosphere than the typical sterile office one would expect.

As a single mom of two young adults, Betsy's main goal has been to create a healthy and safe environment for her children, balancing a demanding, full-time career with a stable, healthy and joyful home life. Betsy is very proud of her children who were both excellent students & who are now moving successfully into the working world. Jennifer, 21, obtained her State of Hawaii Real Estate License at age 18 to assist Mom as well as attended MCC full time to obtain her business degree. Jen has struck out on her own to work at Coldwell Banker Island Properties in Paia so she can create her own persona before returning to Maui Real Estate Professionals to take over the reigns. Brett, 25, graduated from Purdue in May of 2005 and is now a LT JG in the US Navy stationed in Texas awaiting a new ship assignment which will take him to Bahrain. You can imagine how proud Betsy is of them.
